A little over 40 years the Skauge Family has been growing their business and gaining loyal customers throughout different parts of Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. At Richards Sanitation, we work hard to make sure all our customers are taken care of. We strive to provide quality service to businesses and families in our local communities.

Richards Sanitation is on the third and fourth generations of providing waste removal needs. In 1978 Gilbert Hauser and Marcus Schwebach were partners, then Richard Skauge joined in 1981. After time, Richard Skauge became the sole owner. In 2010 Greg Skauge acquired the company from his father Richard Skauge. Since that time Greg has been joined by his sons Kole Skauge and Taylor Skauge who will one day be the next generation to take over operations.

Since 2010 Richards Sanitation has made many upgrades and improvements to the overall services they provide. In 2021 all residential services were switched to the automated tote system. In 2023 all residential and commercial dumpster services were switched to the front load automated style. Providing the most efficient services for our customers is always our goal.
