What is Recyclable?

Plastic 1 & 2 – Bottle Neck Form

Examples – Soda Bottles, Milk Jugs, Shampoo Bottles, Contact Solution Bottles, Detergent Bottles, Water Bottles, Motor Oil Bottles, must be clean and empty

Tin and Aluminum

Examples – Aluminum and Tin Cans, Pop/Beer Cans, Aluminum Foil and Pie Plates, must be clean and empty

Glass

Examples - Any clear or colored jars and bottles, must be clean and empty

Cardboard

Examples - Corrugated Boxes, Cereal Boxes (plastic bag removed), Soda/Beer Cartons, Egg Cartons, must be broken down

Paper

Examples - Mail and Envelopes, Shredded Paper, magazines and Catalogs, Phone Books, News Papers

Examples of what is not recyclable in this system

No garbage, food waste, clothing, food tainted items, paper towels or napkins, windows or mirrors, plastic wrap, plastic bags, packing peanuts or bubble wrap, medical waste, Styrofoam, hazardous chemical containers, plastic toys, foam egg cartons, wood, light bulbs, yard waste.
